Past Simple and Past Continuous I

We are going to practise the use of Simple Past and Past Continuos. You will have to create at least three comic strips and describe the sketches so as to use the Simple Past and the Past continuous tenses.

Here's an example:

Yesterday... I was reading a book to my little sister... 

when suddenly... someone knocked at the door.
